  1. I'm hoping to get Thermae Romae, which is a graphic novel about an ancient Roman bath architect who time travels to modern day Japan, the travels back to his era and implements their bathing ideas/customs into the Roman bathing tradition.

  12. I think I might get Middlesex. There seems to be some confusion over whether I got it last Christmas. My husband says yes, and it seems likely since I've been wanting to read it forever, but we've searched the whole house and can't find it. So I might get it again. If I do, I have to read it this time!

    1. These ladies are on opposite ends of the HF spectrum but are both great! PG is one of the more entertaining HF authors out there and EC's books are so wonderfully researched you feel like you're there. You're in for a treat if you get books by either one :)

    1. I started with The Love Knot and liked her writing so much I ordered all of her books from Book Depository and Alibris because I couldn't wait for them to be released in the US. One of my fave authors-you won't be disappointed!
