Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books.  Mailbox Monday is currently on tour and this month it is making it's home with Cindy @ Cindy's Love of Books.

Spring Break was a great time for me book-wise because I was in Houston which had several half price books.  I was only able to hit up one but I still got a pretty awesome deal.

From Half Price Books:

  • Here was a Man by Norah Lofts
  • Martyr by Rory Clements
  • Dynasty by Robert S. Elegant
  • The Confession of Katherine Howard by Suzannah Dunn
  • The Alchemy of Murder by Carol McCleary
  • The Dragon and the Rose by Roberta Gellis
  • Bond of Blood by Roberta Gellis
  • Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford
  • The Loving Spirit by Daphne du Maurier
  • The Aviary Gate by Katie Hickman

Also had some show up for review:

  • The Book of Madness and Cures by Regina O'Melveny
  • Blue Asylum by Kathy Hepinstall
  • The Magnificent Ambersons by Booth Tarkington (e-copy for blog tour)
  • The Flower Reader by Elizabeth Loupas (from publisher via NetGalley for blog tour)
  • Jasmine Nights by Julia Gregson (from publisher via NetGalley)

My friend Sarah sent me this one after she saw it on my WL @ Goodreads:

  • Grendel by John Gardner

And finally, one from Paperbackswap:

  • The Rebel Wife by Taylor M. Polites

And that's it for me this week!

  12. I recently read The Confession of Katherine Howard, it was interesting and painted Kitty in a light more sympathetic than I was used to. Hope you enjoy it!
