Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia at The Printed Page. MM is now on tour and this month's host is Laura from I'm Booking It.

Last week I went through my wish list and reminder list at PBS and removed everything I could get from the library here. I thought this would slow down the number of wishes granted but this week the Wishlist Gods have been favoring me.

From PBS:
  • The Sixth Surrender by Hana Samek Norton
  • Poison by Sara Poole
  • The Barefoot Girl by Catherine Monroe
  • The Concubine's Daughter by Pai Kit Fai
  • A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain by Robert Olen Butler

And this one sent to me by the author for review which I am really excited about:

  • To Be Queen by Christy English

That's it for this week. I have two 13 hour car rides in my near future and am so glad I have plenty of goodies to read. Hope everyone else had a fabulous mailbox!

  3. I've got Poison sitting on my TBR shelf. Love the title - A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain. I'm hesitant to try English's new one, I love SKP's Eleanor so much, I'm afraid no others can live up to my expectations!

  8. Covet! The array of covers are so lovely - I'm a sucker for pretty cover art - and I'm esp curious about the St Margaret novel (if I read the subtitle right). Very cool!

  12. I sure wish I could read in the car. I can't even read a map in the car. Those books should keep you occupied on your trip.

  15. The Sixth Surrender was excellent. One of my top ten from last year. I'm also reviewing To Be Queen for Christy...can't wait! The Queen's Pawn was also one of my favorites in 2010. You are a lucky girl over at PBS. =O)

    Enjoy your books!
