Snow Flower and the Secret Fan the movie!

I read this book last year and really enjoyed it. I just watched the trailer and it looks interesting but I'm not sure from what I saw that its going to capture the magic of the book. Here it is:

    Hmmm. That was my first reaction when I saw the trailer this morning.

    I am not convinced either, and having seen the trailer for the first time a couple of weeks ago, I am still not convinced!
