Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday is hosted by Marcia at The Printed Page.

I didn't get nearly as many books as I did last week but that's ok. I managed to get three good ones:

From Barnes & Noble:

  • The Lost Summer of Louisa May Alcott by Kelly O'Connor McNees

and from Paperbackswap:

  • The King's Adventurer by Jean Plaidy
  • The Worst Hard Time: The Untold Story of those who Survived the Great American Dustbowl by Timothy Egan

King's Adventurer is one of the harder to come by Plaidy's so I'm really happy about getting it and Worst Hard Time I've been wanting to read since finished Grapes of Wrath.

Happy Day! Hope everyone else got some nice goodies in their mailbox :)

  1. I bought The Lost Summer of LMA and can't wait to read it. Have a great week!

  2. What a great score on the Plaidy find! and I really LOVED the LMA book, since I love LMA! My mailbox is here.

  3. I enjoyed The Lost Summer as well. I have heard The Worst Hard Time is very good also. Enjoy all your new treasures.

  4. I'll be buying the LMA book when it comes out in paperback! I hope you enjoy it, I'll be looking for your review!

    Happy Reading!
