Book Blogger Hop is the weekly get to know you meme hosted by Jennifer @ Crazy for Books. 

This week's hop question:

If you could be a character from any book, who would you be?

My Answer:  Two choices immediately came to mind: Claire Fraser because then I would have Jamie Fraser and Elizabeth Bennett because who can resist Mr. Darcy?

I decided to go with a less obvious choice though so I think if I could be any literary character I would pick Jo March from Little Women.  She has such a big heart and is always trying to do good for others even if her attempts are somewhat misguided (and often hilarious).  Also, whatever she decides to do she goes at it with a single minded determination that you can't help but admire.  Also, I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters but having come along so late in my parents lives, I grew up on my own so I think it would be fun to grow up in a household with three sisters.

Jo's ambition was to do something very splendid. What it was, she had no idea as yet, but left it for time to tell her, and meanwhile, found her greatest affliction in the fact that she couldn't read, run, and ride as much as she liked. A quick temper, sharp tongue, and restless spirit were always getting her into scrapes, and her life was a series of ups and downs, which were both comic and pathetic. -Little Women
