BBC's Horrible Histories

So, there hasn't been a lot of activity here this week and that is because I got really ill last Thursday evening with a stomach virus that put me in bed for three days.  I am finally starting to feel like myself again.  Unfortunately I could not read too much as my head was swimming for much of this time (although I did finish The Map of Time by Felix J. Palma).   So, I logged onto PBS out of boredom and a friend had posted a link to this video:

LOVED IT!  I went to YouTube to check out a few more.  THREE HOURS LATER after my sides hurt so bad from laughing I couldn't take it anymore, I finally shut the computer down.  BBC's Horrible Histories are my new guilty pleasure.

A few more of my favorites:
William Wallace
Charles II
English Kings and Queens

I can't believe I hadn't found this before.  If you lose several hours watching these videos....you're welcome :)

  1. First off, I've very glad to hear you're feeling better, Holly. Stomach viruses are not fun!

I'm definitely going to check out the Horrible Histories! Thanks for letting us know about the show.

  2. Ohmygoodness, these are AMAZING! Esp given the exhausting, stressful week I've been having -- just what I need (viking navigation has me in stitches!).

  3. I was actually getting some of the songs from these stuck in my head at work. I liked the Viking navigation one too :)
