Mailbox Monday

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia at The Printed Page. Mailbox Monday is currently on tour and this month it is making it's home at Mari Reads.

Between a FOL sale and a few stops at Goodwill and 2 UBS's I scored a lot of good ones this week for dirt cheap. Yay for frugality and great books!

  • Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser
  • Genghis: Lords of the Bow by Conn Iggulden
  • Genghis: Birth of an Empire by Conn Iggulden
  • These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer
  • The Sea by John Banville

  1. I will be looking forward to comparing our thoughts on The Lady's slipper!

You had quite the book buying week... aren't those the best ;) I almost bought Antonia Fraser's Marie Antoinette but ended up taking home her biography, Love and Louis XIV, instead.

Hope you get to enjoy these books soon!

  11. Wow, I see some "blasts from the past" there, like Exodus and Foreign Affairs. I haven't read anything by Alison Lurie in awhile, but she was a fave back in the day. Hope you enjoy all of your books...and thanks for visiting my blog.

  20. You picked up so many nice titles. I've been looking for the Truman book.

I love those FOL sales. I had to stop going, or at least limit myself! It never occurred to me to go to Goodwill for books... and I have a store right down the street.
