Good Morning! Suddenly Sunday is hosted by A Muse in the Fog.
I completely missed Suddenly Sunday (and everything else last week) due to being on vacation in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. I urge anyone who has not been to see these awe inspiring natural wonders to go. I saw some mountain views that completely took my breath away. I also got a chance to go horseback riding for the first time through the foothills, take in a couple of shows and hike to some of the waterfalls in the park. While I was doing all that I didn't have much time to read but the 10+ hour car ride there and back made up for that. This week I was able to finish and review:
- Soul Harvest (Left Behind #4) by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins
- The Pale Horseman by Bernard Cornwell
- The Serpent's Tale by Ariana Franklin
- Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Right now I am reading Tears in the Desert: A Memoir of Survival in Darfur by Halima Bashir. I'm not very far in but it is very interesting so far. This week I should have a couple more reviews coming and a HUGE mailbox monday since I missed out last week and I did a little shopping while I was in Tennessee (books, fudge, wine, a bird shaped birdhouse-you name it, I bought it....).
Hope everyone has a fabulous sunday and you are out enjoying the weather if you can. The whole time I was in the Smokies it was 75 or higher. The day after I got back to Michigan it snowed.....
We went to the Smokey Mountains several years ago - they are very pretty. Glad you had a nice time.
